Master description — paste into any "what does your app do" box
Unified Seller Point is a multi-channel listing and inventory-management tool for merchants who operate more than one storefront. A seller connects their own shop through the platform's official OAuth flow and authorizes the app to create and update their listings and to read their orders so stock stays in sync across the stores they sell on. All data is used solely to operate the connected shop on its owner's behalf. Nothing is scraped, resold, redistributed, shared with third parties, or used for competitive-intelligence or market-research, and the shop owner can revoke access at any time.
✅ uscore.llc already serves a reviewer-safe description page at / plus live /privacy and /terms — reviewers who visit see exactly the wording above.

1 · Etsy Personal app — pending

Portal: etsy.com/developers/your-apps  ·  Prereq: an Etsy account with an active shop (we used the WePrintServices account). One app per Etsy account.

  1. Sign in to the shop-owning Etsy account → open the portal → Create a New App.
  2. Fill the form (text below).
  3. Submit → status Pending Personal Approval. Etsy sends NO email either way — check the dashboard. Pending > ~1 week = assume failed, reapply.
  4. On approval you get a Keystring (API key) + Shared Secret — send me both.
App nameunified-seller-point
Describe your application
A multi-channel listing and inventory tool. The shop owner connects their own Etsy shop via OAuth and authorizes it to create/update their listings and read their receipts (orders) so inventory stays in sync with their other storefronts. Data is used only to operate the owner's shop on their behalf — never scraped, resold, or shared.

Limit: 5 req/sec, 5,000/day per key. Commercial access (to let the public connect their shops) is a separate later application.

2 · eBay dev account — awaiting production keyset

Portal: developer.ebay.com → My Account → Application Keysets

  1. Sign in → register as a developer if needed (accept the API License Agreement).
  2. Application Keysets → Sandbox is instant → Get Production Keyset (agree to terms).
  3. Note App ID (Client ID), Cert ID (Client Secret), Dev ID.
  4. User tokens (OAuth): keyset → User tokens → Get a Token from eBay via Your Application →
    Auth accepted URLhttps://uscore.llc/api/channels/callback/ebay
    Auth declined URLhttps://uscore.llc/app?ebay=declined
This generates a RuName. Send me RuName + App ID + Cert ID.
  5. Scopes: sell.inventory, sell.account (+ sell.fulfillment for orders).
App description / primary use case
Unified Seller Point helps a seller manage listings and inventory across multiple stores from one dashboard. Using the Sell APIs (Inventory, Account, Fulfillment), the seller authorizes the app via OAuth to create/revise their own listings and read their orders so stock stays accurate across channels. Data is used only to operate the seller's own eBay account on their behalf.
⚠️ To publish live listings the seller must have Business Policies opted-in (payment/return/shipping) in their eBay account — the Sell Inventory API requires them.

3 · TikTok — two separate portals

3a · TikTok for Developers — content posting (videos)

Portal: developers.tiktok.com

  1. Log in → Manage apps → Create an app.
  2. Verify domain uscore.llc (DNS TXT or file — send me the value, I add it in Cloudflare).
  3. Add products: Login Kit + Content Posting API.
  4. Redirect URI: https://uscore.llc/api/channels/callback/tiktok
  5. Scopes: user.info.basic, video.upload, video.publish.
  6. Submit for app review — "Direct Post" needs an audit + a screencast. Until audited, posts are self/private only.
App description + scope justification
Unified Seller Point lets a merchant schedule and publish their own product videos to their own TikTok account from one dashboard. video.upload/video.publish are used to post content the user creates and approves; user.info.basic identifies which account they connected. We never access other users' data and never post without the account owner's explicit action.

3b · TikTok Shop Partner Center — manage shops/listings

Portal: partner.tiktokshop.com  ·  App type: Seller / ISV tool

  1. Register as developer/partner → Manage Apps → Create App.
  2. Choose the Seller Tool / ISV app (managing shops you operate).
  3. Callback URL: https://uscore.llc/api/channels/callback/tiktok_shop
  4. Request Product/Listing + Order permission groups.
  5. You get App Key + App Secret → send me; each of your 5 shops then authorizes it.
Use case
ISV/seller tool that lets the shop owner manage their own TikTok Shop product listings and read their own orders to keep inventory in sync with their other storefronts. Used only for shops the authorizing owner controls.
⚠️ TikTok Shop partner approval is the slowest/heaviest of the set — start it early. Keep the "seller tool for the owner's own shops" framing on both TikTok portals.

4 · Facebook / Instagram (Meta)

Portal: developers.facebook.com  ·  Prereq: a Meta Business account; Business Verification required for publishing permissions.

  1. My Apps → Create App → type: Business.
  2. Settings → Basic: App Domains = uscore.llc, Privacy = https://uscore.llc/privacy, Terms = https://uscore.llc/terms.
  3. Add products: Facebook Login + Instagram (Graph API).
  4. Facebook Login → Settings → Valid OAuth Redirect URIs: https://uscore.llc/api/channels/callback/meta
  5. Permissions (all Advanced Access → App Review + Business Verification): pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts, instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish, business_management.
  6. Complete Business Verification (Business Settings → Security Center) — upload LLC docs.
  7. Submit each permission for App Review with the text below + a screencast of login → connect Page/IG → publish.
"How will your app use this permission?"
Unified Seller Point lets a business connect its own Facebook Page and linked Instagram professional account and schedule/publish its own promotional posts from one dashboard. pages_manage_posts / instagram_content_publish publish content the account owner creates and approves; pages_read_engagement / instagram_basic / pages_show_list list the connected Pages/accounts and confirm the connection; business_management lets the owner select which of their own business assets to connect. We only ever act on assets the authorizing user owns, only on their explicit action, and never access other people's data.
⚡ Under Dev/Standard access you (the app admin) can already publish to your own Pages/IG — enough to run your own 5 stores' socials now. App Review is only needed to let other people connect.

5 · Nextdoor — the honest version

⚠️ No self-serve posting API for an individual seller. Nextdoor's API is partner-gated (ads + retail/real-estate partners) — they don't hand out "post to my business page" credentials like the others.
  1. Create a free Business Page now: business.nextdoor.com → Create a free Business Page.
    Business page fields
    Business name: [your shop name]
    Category: Retail / [best fit]
    Website: https://uscore.llc
Address: [US Core LLC, Chicago address]
  2. API access: register interest at developer.nextdoor.com — expect it to be ads-oriented and gated; realistically not granted for small-seller organic posting.
  3. Interim: treat Nextdoor as a manual/checklist channel in the app (draft the copy, you paste it). If it ever opens up, I wire it in.
Partner-application blurb (if you apply)
US Core LLC operates Unified Seller Point, a multi-channel commerce tool for local sellers. We'd like API access to let a business owner publish their own promotional posts to their own Nextdoor Business Page from one dashboard, on their explicit action, for the account they control.

6 · Suggested order & what to hand me

  1. eBay (fastest) → send App ID + Cert ID + RuName.
  2. Etsy (already pending) → when approved, send Keystring + Shared Secret.
  3. Meta → start Business Verification early (long pole); you can self-post immediately.
  4. TikTok Shop → start early (slow review); send App Key + Secret.
  5. TikTok content → domain-verify + submit for audit.
  6. Nextdoor → make the free Business Page; API optional/gated.
The moment any keys arrive, paste them to me → I add them to the server .env and restart → that platform's Connect button in the Channels tab goes live automatically. All redirect URIs / scopes / env names are already wired in server/src/lib/connectors.ts — don't change the callback URLs.
